Jeff Durkin: Legal Advisor
Jeff Durkin is an experienced senior corporate lawyer, specializing in the energy industry. Jeff was a partner in a leading corporate commercial law firm in Australasia before moving to the UK in 1988 with BP, with whom he held a variety of upstream and downstream legal management positions. From 2005 until 2008 Jeff was a member of the INEOS Chemical’s Major Projects group, and was responsible for undertaking major petrochemical investments in Europe, Asia, the US and the Middle East. From 2009 Jeff has undertaken a number of consultancy assignments in the oil and gas, petrochemical and alternative energy sectors. Jeff holds a Masters Law Degree from Victoria University, New Zealand.
Andrew Rose: Chief Financial Officer
Andrew Rose has over 10 years experience as Chief Financial Officer of small quoted E&P companies. He was CFO of Burren Energy from 2001 until 2008, playing a key role in its IPO on the London Stock Exchange in 2003 and its eventual sale to ENI. From 2008 until 2012 he was CFO of the AIM-listed Gulfsands Petroleum. Prior to 2001 he spent 20 years as an investment banker in London, culminating as Co-Head of Corporate Finance for Emerging Europe, Middle East & Africa at Société Générale, and previously holding positions at ING Barings, JP Morgan, Natwest and HSBC. Andrew holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from Cambridge University.
Ron Nelmes: Group Finance Manager
Mr. Ron Nelmes has over 25 years’ experience in the finance industry including over 15 years in the oil and gas industry and has expertise in financial reporting for FTSE 100 Companies, along with management reporting and budgeting. Ron has worked as Financial Controller for Stratic Energy Corp, a Canadian listed oil and gas exploration company and as a Finance Manager for Enterprise Oil plc (Shell).
Ian Bulley: Exploration Manager
Mr Bulley has over 23 years experience as a petroleum geologist in a wide range of exploration and development settings gained through working on acreage in Australia, SE Asia, Middle East, East and West Africa, and the North Sea. He has worked in both exploration and production environments, for Amoco, Hunt Oil, PGS, Hardman Resources, Tullow Oil and other oil companies and consultancies. Ian holds a Bachelor Degree in Geology from University of Reading, UK and a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Geology, Imperial College from the University of London and is a fellow of Geological Society of London.
Dean Criddle: Manager of Geophysics
Mr. Dean Criddle, is a Senior Geophysicist with 16 years international experience, gained through work on high profile exploration and development projects for Chevron. His areas of expertise include advanced seismic data processing, seismic reservoir prediction, seismic interpretation, prospect generation and well location optimization. He holds a First Class Honours degree in Geophysics from Curtin University and is a member of the University's Vice Chancellor list. His expertise has been acquired while working in cutting edge technical geophysics roles, and broader earth science work fronts throughout the world. His work as the Lead Geophysicist for the U.K. Britannia gas-condensate field had a major business impact on the Central North Sea region, including identification of new exploration and development prospects, development well location optimization and the unlocking of some stalled development projects. Mr Criddle has been recognised for his academic and industry achievements to date with awards from Curtin University, Chevron, Britannia, ASEG, APPEA, APCRC, PESGB, PESA and the Australian Institute of Physics.
